Groups for the 2018-2019 season

Competition groups

Tri Intro (7 to 10 years)

Intro group is for those who want to try triathlon. We start with an introduction to propper swimming technique, training and some fun competitions. The athletes learn to be responsible and be a member of a team

There are 3.5 hours training each week together with the coach and team. Two hours swimming, 45 minutes cycling and 45 minutes land training.

To be a member of this group one must be able to swim at least 100 meters without stopping.

Tri Sats Junior (11 to 13 years)

The Tri sats Recruit group is for those who wish to compete in triathlons. We practice technique and distance swimming. The athletes become prepared to start competing in trathlons and try some fun games.

There are 5.5 hours of training every week with the coach and team. Three hours swimming, 45 minutes biking, one hour of running and 45 minutes land training.

To be a member of this group one must be able to swim for at least an hour without stopping.

Elite gruppe (14 to 18 years)

The Tri elite group is for those who want to compete in triathlons. We practice technique and fast swimming. The athletes compete in age-based competitions with the goal to do the best they can.

There are 10 to 12 hours of training every week with the coach and team. Five hours swimming, 1.5 hours cycling, one hour of running and 1.5 hours land training.

To be a member of this group one must be able to swim at least 1.5 hours without stop and have a desire to compete.

Tri voksen (adult) (18+ years)

The Tri voksen group is for those who want to compete in triathlons. We practice technique and fast swimming.

There are 5.5 to 6.5 hours of training every week with the coach and team. Three or four hours swimming, 45 minutes biking, one hour of running and 45 minutes land training.

To be a member this group one must be able to swim for at least an hour without stopping and have a desire to compete.

Training groups

Tri Sosial (11 to 16 years)

Tri sosial (social) group is for those who want to train for triathlons without the stress of competitions. We practice technique and have some fun competitions. The athletes exercise for the health benefits and to have fun.

There are 4.5 hours of training each week together with the coach and team. Three hours swimming, 45 minutes cycling and 45 minutes land training.

To be a member this group one must be able to for swim one hour.

Tri Trening (18+ years)

The Tri trenings (training) is for those who want to compete in triathlons, but do not want to have big commitments. We practice technique and fast swimming.

There are four hours of exercise each week with the coach and team. Three hours swimming and one hour land training.

To be a member of this group one must be able to swim for at least 45 minutes.
